The purpose of the Association are:

  • To promote and encourage participation in the game of hockey.
  • To organize and administer teams or completition in league and championship games.
  • To teach and encourage sportsmanship and emphasize fair play at all times.
  • To teach respect for all players, officials, and spectators at all times.

Meet WVMHA Board Members

WVMHA holds monthly board meetings at the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena. All WVMHA active members in good standing are welcome to attend. Minutes can be found under the Policy & Conduct page of the website. To confirm the time and place of the meeting, kindly get in touch with the board secretary.

WVMHA is a Tier 4 Association.

Associations are tiered by BC Hockey, by the amount of registered hockey players from U13 level and up. This tiering classification is for Provincial Championships only, and is not related to skill level.
